Josh Hamilton's return to relevance

Nobody should look to be outright dismissive of new/old Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton returning to his MVP-winning ways, though it seems unlikely. Hamilton, who made his season debut Monday afternoon, doesn’t need to be absurdly productive to pique our collective interest as a relevant fantasy option. He just needs to hit a little bit, really, and -- flaws and all, both on and off the playing field -- I think he can still do that. So do fantasy owners in roughly half of ESPN’s standard leagues, as that’s his current ownership. He’s one of the most-added players, and yes, there are certainly worse gambles to take at this point.
