Wright, Carrasco among fallen stars

Andy Marlin/USA TODAY Sports

The triumphant return of New York Mets right-hander Matt Harvey to the Citi Field mound Tuesday was overshadowed when iconic third baseman David Wright removed himself from the game with a pulled right hamstring. Wright, off to a terrific start this season with a .333 batting average, one home run and two stolen bases, the second of which led to the injury, seemed resigned to a disabled list fate after the game and Eric Campbell was summoned from Triple-A Las Vegas. Tuesday was one of those nights in baseball where the final scores of games were hardly the biggest stories, and Wright’s injury could affect fantasy the most.
