Mitch Moreland, who got the start at first base Tuesday night against the San Diego Padres, suffered a leg injury running to first base after hitting into an inning-ending double play in the top of the second.

Moreland was diagnosed with a left hamstring strain and will have an MRI on Wednesday. He is day-to-day.

Michael Young, who was getting the night off after going 2-for-22 in his last six games, replaced Moreland in the bottom of the second.
