Workouts can bring Bryant, others money

IRVING, Texas -- Monday marks the beginning of the Dallas Cowboys' offseason conditioning program and seven players will have a financial stake in participating in it with roster bonuses.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant has the largest workout bonus at $250,000, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Linebacker Bruce Carter is next at $50,000, followed by running back DeMarco Murray at $25,000. Wide receivers Terrance Williams and Dwayne Harris, defensive end Tyrone Crawford and safety J.J. Wilcox can earn up to $10,000 each.

The offseason program is voluntary, except for the June minicamp. To earn the money, the players have to take part in 90 percent of the workouts.

The Cowboys generally have close to 100 percent attendance for their offseason program since most of the players live in the area year round.
