Injury report: Morris Claiborne hurts pinkie

OXNARD, Calif. - The injury report got a little longer Wednesday. Cornerback Morris Claiborne dislocated his left pinkie during an one-on-one drill. He was in some pain for a few moments and had head athletic trainer Jim Maurer pop the finger back in and tape two fingers together so he could return to the field.

Other injury notes:

  • Defensive tackle Jason Hatcher left practice because a ball hit him in the calf. He said he was fine.

  • Ike Igbinosun (lower leg), Jay Ratliff (hamstring), Anthony Spencer (knee), Tyrone Crawford (Achilles), Ronald Leary (calf), Nate Livings (calf), Mackenzy Bernadeau (hamstring), Jermey Parnell (hamstring), Danny Coale (knee), James Hanna (hamstring) and L.P. Ladouceur (calf) missed practice as expected.

  • Spencer is scheduled to undergo surgery for his knee Thursday, but he did attend Wednesday's practices. Leary, Livings and Bernadeau ran sprints. Ladouceur worked on the resistance bands.
