Cowboys ink LB Damien Wilson to deal

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys have one draft pick left to sign after reaching a four-year deal with fourth-round pick Damien Wilson on Thursday.

First-rounder Byron Jones is the last remaining unsigned pick and his deal should not take long to conclude.

Wilson, a linebacker, will receive a signing bonus of $466,316 and base salaries of $435,000, $525,000, $615,000 and $705,000.

He started 12 of 13 games last year at Minnesota and had 110 tackles, which led the team, and was tied for the team lead in sacks with four. He also 10.5 tackles for a loss, four pass deflections, a forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two quarterback hurries.

With Sean Lee and Anthony Hitchens limited with injuries and Rolando McClain recovering from knee surgery, Wilson has worked with the first-team defense in the organized team activities.
