Officials breakdown: Scott Green

IRVING, Texas -- Scott Green will be the referee for Thursday’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders at AT&T Stadium, and the Cowboys hope to break a losing streak in games in which Green has called the game.

The Cowboys have lost three in a row with Green as the official, including last year’s game versus the New York Giants at Arlington. The Cowboys were penalized only two times for 10 yards in the game. The Giants had five penalties for 45 yards.

Green’s crew worked the Carolina Panthers-Miami Dolphins game Sunday and called 15 penalties with 14 accepted. The Panthers were flagged eight times for 56 yards. The Dolphins were penalized six times for 55 yards.
