ST. LOUIS - General managers are occupied right now. Some, like the two here in St. Louis, are busy watching the fruits of their labor and waiting to see if it ends up with their name on the Stanley Cup. Many others are over in Russia watching the World Championships; they’re scouting potential players and free agents, or helping run their country’s international team. That’s led to a general lack of news on free agents signing with their teams -- it's just not the work cycle we’re in now. Yes, there’s been the occasional deal like Jaromir Jagr in Florida, but mostly, teams are waiting. That will change soon.
