Minutes before the Cleveland Browns made their second-round selection in the NFL draft Friday night, ex-Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel responded to a Twitter post that showed him sitting in a bar in Columbus, Ohio, one night earlier.
Manziel initially tweeted "LOL" to the post, then elaborated:
You guys act like what I'm doing is something new. I've been the same person, doing the same things since it all started.

Made plenty of mistakes along the way, and have a lot I'd do differently. To all my family and real friends who have stuck by me...THANK YOU

Manziel then responded to the poster and said he should have spoken directly to Manziel instead of "sitting across from us tweeting away."
The initial post was put up by @WillBurge, a Cleveland radio host. He responded to Manziel by saying he was not in Columbus, but a friend was and sent the picture to Burge.
Manziel apparently was in Columbus for a Justin Bieber concert. He attended Bieber's concert in Cleveland on Tuesday.
Manziel was indicted on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge in Dallas on Tuesday and has until May 5 to turn himself in.
