Below is a look at Cincinnati Bengals receiver/return specialist Brandon Tate's new contract. He was re-signed Tuesday to a one-year deal.

While he is a receiver and will give Cincinnati depth at that position, Tate's primary responsibilities are on special teams. He ranked ninth in the league in kick return average last season, picking up 26.1 yards per return. He also returned punts once the Bengals pulled Adam Jones off special teams. They needed Jones healthy for defense.

Last season, Tate had a cap value of $966,000. In addition to his $715,000 base salary, he also was due a $100,000 signing bonus, a $126,000 roster bonus and a $25,000 workout bonus.
