Center Nazr Mohammed will return for a 17th NBA season after re-signing with the Chicago Bulls on Monday.

The 6-foot-10, 250-pound Mohammed, 37, will be back for a third season with his hometown Bulls, one of eight teams he has played for since being a first-round draft pick of the Utah Jazz in 1998. He played in 80 games with the Bulls last season, averaging 1.6 points and 2.2 rebounds in 7 minutes a game.
