Here’s a look by the numbers at the Chicago Blackhawks’ sweep of the Minnesota Wild in Western Conference second-round series:

• Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane scored a series-high five goals on 10 shots on net over the four games. He attempted 18 shots in total. Ten were on net, four were blocked and four missed. He became the second Blackhawk to score in every game of a four-game sweep. Dustin Byfuglien was the first in 2010, according to Elias Sports Bureau. Kane has seven goals and 13 points in 10 games in this season’s playoffs. He’s second in the league in both categories. He's also on a five-game goals streak and a seven-game points streak. He had recorded a point in 9-of-10 playoff games.

• The Blackhawks won 136-of-247 faceoffs in the series. The Wild’s Mikko Koivu was 51-of 98 on faceoffs in the series. The Blackhawks’ Jonathan Toews was 46-of-82 and Antoine Vermette was 35-of-49.

• The Blackhawks never trailed in the series and only once were tied with the Wild outside of both teams being scoreless. The Blackhawks outscored the Wild 6-3 in 5-on-5 play, and the Blackhawks have allowed just one 5-on-5 goal in the last three games.

• Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa recorded the NHL's first empty-net series-clinching goal since Bobby Smith in 1991, according to Elias Sports Bureau.

• Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith played 141 shifts, 114 minutes and 25 seconds in the series. He played a series-high 30:12 in Game 2. He played 29-plus minutes in three of the four games. He’s second in the league with a 30:37 ice-time average for the playoffs. He leads the league as a plus-10 in the playoffs. He also has a plus-7 goal differential for the playoffs. He has been on the ice for 15 Blackhawks’ goals and eight opponents’ goals during 5-on-5 play.

• The Blackhawks’ Kane, Keith and Niklas Hjalmarsson each had a series-best plus-4 goal differential in 5-on-5 play. The Wild’s Thomas Vanek had a series-worst minus-4 goal differential.

• The Blackhawks’ Patrick Sharp had a series-best plus-15 Corsi and was followed by the Wild’s Ryan Suter (plus-13) and Vermette (plus-11). The Blackhawks’ Brad Richards had a series-worst minus-20 Corsi.

• The Blackhawks’ Marcus Kruger and Andrew Shaw tied at 12.5 percent for the lowest offensive zone faceoff starting percentage. The Blackhawks’ Bryan Bickell had the series’ highest percentage at 78.6 percent.

• The Blackhawks were 2-of-6 on the power play in the series, and the Wild were 3-of-11. The Blackhawks also scored one short-handed goal.

• Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford stopped 124-of-131 shots for a .947 save percentage in the series. Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk made 100 saves on 111 shots for a .901 save percentage.

• Bickell had a series-high 29 hits. He leads the league with 64 hits in the playoffs.
