The Chicago Blackhawks reassigned goaltender Scott Darling to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL on Friday.

Darling, 25, was recalled by the Blackhawks on Oct. 21 after Corey Crawford suffered an injury. Darling started the Blackhawks’ last three games and was 2-1-0 with a 1.98 goals-against average and .933 save percentage.

Darling made his last start against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday. He had 28 saves on 32 shots in a 5-4 shootout win. He stopped all three shootout shots.

Crawford backed up Darling on Thursday and is expected to start Saturday. Antti Raanta will remain the Blackhawks’ No. 2 goalie. Raanta is 1-2-0 with a 2.03 goals-against average and .933 save percentage this season.
