          Hossa sits out practice; Hartman returns

          CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa did not practice Monday due to a lower-body injury and is expected to return to the ice on Tuesday, according to coach Joel Quenneville.

          Blackhawks forward Ryan Hartman skated Monday for the first time in more than a week after suffering a lower-body injury. Hartman, the Blackhawks’ 2013 first-round pick, has not appeared in any of the team’s preseason games.

          “He made some progress,” Quenneville said of Hartman. “I don’t see him practicing with us tomorrow, but I think he’s going to maybe push a little harder tomorrow and make some progress.”
