Bears claim QB Zac Dysert off of waivers, trim roster to 75

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears claimed quarterback Zac Dysert and tight end Gannon Sinclair off of waivers, placed running back Senorise Perry on injured reserve and waived quarterback Shane Carden and offensive guard Lucas Nix, the team announced on Tuesday.

The Bears roster is now at 75 players.

Dysert played for head coach John Fox in Denver for two seasons. A seventh round selection of the Denver Broncos in the 2013 NFL Draft, Dysert spent the entire 2013 season on the Broncos’ active roster and last year on the practice squad.

Sinclair is an undrafted free agent out of Missouri State who recently got waived by the Arizona Cardinals.

Perry led the Bears in special teams tackles (17) in 2014.

Nix appeared in 15 games with 10 starts over two seasons (2012-13) with the Oakland Raiders.

The Bears signed Carden as an undrafted rookie free agent out of East Carolina. He spent much of camp as the Bears' No. 3 quarterback until David Fales returned from an injury.
