The No. 7 overall draft choice has produced just two Pro Bowl players over the last seven years, a trend the Chicago Bears hope to change when the organization is on the clock April 30.

Here is a snapshot of the last seven players taken at No. 7, a list that includes six position groups.

2014 -- Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Talented but often volatile receiver caught 68 passes for 1,051 yards and 12 touchdowns, despite the Bucs' well-documented troubles at quarterback. The arrow is clearly pointing up.

2013 -- Jonathan Cooper, OG, Arizona Cardinals: Placed on injured reserve in August 2013 with a broken left fibula. Started two games for Arizona in 2014.

2012 -- Mark Barron, S, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Appeared in 37 games for the Bucs (three interceptions) before a trade sent him to the St. Louis Rams for the final nine games of 2014. Finished with 72-plus tackles in each of his three seasons.

2011 -- Aldon Smith, OLB, San Francisco 49ers: Troubled but gifted 3-4 pass-rusher. Smith had 33.5 sacks in his first two years in the NFL until suspensions and off-the-field issues stalled his career. Pro Bowl selection in 2012 (19.5 sacks).

2010 -- Joe Haden, CB, Cleveland Browns: Haden is a two-time Pro Bowl cornerback with 16 career interceptions. Seconnd team All-Pro in 2013.

2009 -- Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Oakland Raiders: On his third team (Pittsburgh Steelers) after an average four-year stint in Oakland. Best year came in 2011 when he caught 64 passes for 975 yards.

2008 -- Sedrick Ellis, DT, New Orleans Saints: Ellis was a full-time starter and helped New Orleans win a Super Bowl, but he never lived up to the top-10 draft status. He did have six sacks in 2010. Signed with Bears in summer of 2013 and promptly retired.
