Wake-up call: Fourth day of practice

Every day of Chicago Bears training camp, we'll have a wake-up call that previews the day ahead.

9:00 a.m. CT -- Bears practice with full pads (open to the public).

Approx. 11:30 a.m. CT -- Marc Trestman, offensive coaches, and select players are available to the media coming off the practice field.

The Bears are expected to be in full-pads again on Monday, especially since the players have a scheduled off day on Tuesday that is mandated by the league’s collective bargaining agreement. 9,500 fans were estimated to have watched Sunday’s practice, and while crowds tend to be somewhat smaller on weekdays, still plan to arrive early if you want prime seats close to the action.

Among the storylines we’ll be following:

  • Right guard Kyle Long (viral infection) is expected to be re-evaluated.

  • Health status of Pro Bowl cornerback Tim Jennings (quad).

  • Players beginning to separate themselves in positional battles.
