Panthers mailbag: Who has best long-term future: Cam Newton or Johnny Manziel?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - There have been a lot of questions this week surrounding the return of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton from his auto accident 11 days ago.

Now that we know Newton, who suffered two small fractures in his lower back in the scary incident, will start in Sunday’s 1 p.m. game against Cleveland, it’s time to address other questions.
