Mario Williams' nine-bathroom house most expensive on Buffalo market

Have an extra $10,000 per month to spare on a mortgage? Mario Williams' mansion could be yours.

The former Buffalo Bills defensive end's five-bedroom, nine-bathroom house that sprawls over 9,000 square feet and is about 15 minutes from Ralph Wilson Stadium was put up for sale Friday at an asking price of $3 million, making it the most expensive home on the market in Western New York, according to real estate website Zillow.com.

If you're keeping track at home, Williams had more bathrooms (nine) in his Buffalo-area house than he had sacks (5.0) for the Bills last season.

Public records show Williams bought the home in June 2012, three months after signing a six-year, $100 million contract with the Bills. He paid a modest $494,915 four years ago for the property, which was built in 2005.

Williams certainly had some cash to spare. According to ESPN Stats & Information, he pocketed $66,604,805 from the Bills, making him the ninth-highest earner in the NFL over the past four seasons and the highest-earning defensive player.

The former No. 1 overall pick will continue to pad his wallet, too. The Miami Dolphins signed Williams to a two-year, $17 million deal this March that can increase to $20 million with incentives.
