Rex Ryan takes Bills bowling before long weekend

Thursday marked the final day of "Phase II" of the Buffalo Bills' offseason program, but football wasn't on the docket.

According to a tweet from the team, coach Rex Ryan took his team bowling instead:

Ryan is no stranger to trying to mix up his team's schedule and have some fun. He took the New York Jets to a Buffalo-area Dave and Buster's the night before a game in Nov. 2013, but the Jets lost, 37-14, to the Bills the next day.

Last summer, former Bills coach Doug Marrone canceled one of nine organized team activities to take the Bills to a local Airsoft gun and paintball range.

The Bills will begin organized team activities next Tuesday.
