BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins have signed 2015 first-round pick Jakub Zboril to an entry-level contract, the team announced Wednesday.

The Bruins selected the 18-year-old defenseman with the No. 13 overall pick in this June's NHL Entry Draft. Zboril is participating in the Bruins' development camp this week at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass.

Last season, the Czech Republic native played for Saint John of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The 6-foot-1, 184-pound blueliner scored 13 goals and added 20 assists for 33 points in 44 games.
