Ravens reportedly retain reserve DT Christo Bilukidi

The Baltimore Ravens retained reserve defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi by reaching a two-year agreement with him Friday, according to The Baltimore Sun.

This was the only way Bilukidi was going to remain with the Ravens. He was one of the Ravens' three restricted free agents (kicker Justin Tucker and safety Will Hill are the others), and the Ravens weren't going to tender him because that would have required a one-year, $1.526 million deal.

In order for Bilukidi to stay and not become a free agent, he had to agree to a far less expensive contract. Last season, the Ravens claimed him off waivers on Sept. 8 after the Bengals cut him, and he played a total of 47 snaps in four games before going on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

Bilukidi, 25, was a sixth-round pick by the Oakland Raiders in 2012. He has 16 tackles and one sack in 24 career games.
