Ravens WR Torrey Smith is active vs. Jaguars

BALTIMORE -- Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith is active Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars after being considered a game-time decision.

Smith missed two practices this week with a right knee injury before fully participating Friday. Officially listed as probable, Smith looked strong in pregame warm-ups, showing no limp and making hard cuts.

He hasn't missed a game in his four-year NFL career. His 62 straight starts are the second-longest active streak on the Ravens behind punter Sam Koch and quarterback Joe Flacco.

It wouldn't be surprising if Smith was placed on a snap count. Kamar Aiken, who had a career high six catches for 65 yards and one touchdown last Sunday, is expected to receive playing time.

As expected, rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro will miss his first game with a foot injury. That means Bernard Pierce will back up Justin Forsett.

RAVENS' INACTIVES

WR Michael Campanaro, CB Antoine Cason, RB Lorenzo Taliaferro, LB Arthur Brown, DT Terrence Cody, OL Gino Gradkowski and DE DeAngelo Tyson.
