Baltimore Ravens add TE Phillip Supernaw

The Baltimore Ravens made a change at backup tight end, signing Phillip Supernaw from the practice squad on Saturday and waiving Ryan Taylor.

With Owen Daniels out with a knee injury, Supernaw will back up new starter Crockett Gillmore, a rookie third-round pick.

Supernaw was on the Ravens' 53-man roster for two weeks earlier this season and was active for the Week 4 game against Carolina. He didn't have a catch.

He has experience in Gary Kubiak's offense having played in Houston last season.
