Joe Flacco enjoying career game in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. -- Joe Flacco tied a Baltimore Ravens record with five touchdown passes, and he did it in just the first half.

Flacco is in the midst of a career game as the Ravens rolled out to a 38-0 halftime lead, completing 15 of 22 passes for 245 yards. His passer rating is 144.9 (perfect rating is 158.3).

Those five touchdowns matched the record held by Tony Banks, who set it in 2000 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Flacco threw four touchdowns in the first quarter alone, hitting Torrey Smith on his first two and then connecting with Kamar Aiken and rookie Michael Campanaro. It was the first career touchdowns for Aiken and Campanaro.

Flacco's fifth touchdown came 1 minute, 33 seconds in the second quarter, when he threw a 56-yard pass to wide receiver Steve Smith.
