Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East:
Thursday's preseason opener between the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins will be blacked out, the Bills announced.
Morning take: I’m not sure what to think about this one. This is the most excited Bills fans have been about the team in a while. Yet, 20,000 tickets remain for this preseason game. Maybe it’s just the exhibition season and fans are waiting for the real games.
Who is rising and falling in the Miami Dolphins' training camp?
Morning take: Dolphins cornerback Vontae Davis definitely is having a disappointing camp. Richard Marshall is pushing for Davis’ starting job and actually is first on the depth chart.
New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow takes the high road responding to Boomer Esiason.
Morning take: Esiason says Tebow should be cut immediately. I disagree with that assessment. But credit Tebow for continuing to fend off critics.
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will attend the funeral of Garrett Reid, who is the son of Philadelphia Eagles’ coach Andy Reid.
Morning take: Belichick and Andy Reid have developed a good friendship, and this is a tough time for the Eagles’ head coach. This is a good move by Belichick to support a friend.
