Louisville unveiled its new uniforms Thursday, adding some realism to its logo.

In a partnership with Adidas, the “Uncaged Cardinal Primeknit” uniform will debut Sept. 5 when Louisville takes on Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.

The big changes:

• A photo-real, high-definition Cardinal design

• Chrome and red English “L” on the helmet

• Chrome and red wings on the shoulders of the jerseys

• Chrome and red lettering on jerseys and pants
