Adrian Peterson is awfully close to the single-season rushing record currently held by Eric Dickerson, but if Greg Jennings and the Green Bay Packers have anything to say about it, he won't break the record against their defense. Will Peterson cap his 2012 comeback from brutal ACL and MCL injuries in the best way possible?
- The Sasquatch King: "Packers still have something to play for. With a loss and a 49ers win they lose their first round bye. and a second round home field advantage if they win the first round game. Obviously they are going to try to keep AP from the record books. Aside from AP who is going to beat the Packers on the Vikings offense with Harvin out?"
- Sajman01: "Whether AP gets there or not, he has won me over as a fan. I wholeheartedly thought he was done after his latest ACL tear and he made me look like an idiot. Congratulations on a great season either way!"
- RealTimeMike: "You can do better than that, Pack! Keep him from getting to 2,000 yards."
- rockchalk20082008: "As a fan of neither team, considering that AP is all class and has come back from a brutal knee injury I personally want to see him get the record. But 208 will be hard to get but if anyone can he can."
- chiefsrule5825: "The fact that the Packers (or any team, for that matter) have to FOCUS on Peterson, just to keep him under 208 yards, is a true testament to how good Peterson really is."
- Thomas11145: "AP will def break the 2000yd mark but I dont really see him breaking the record. I think we might be relying on Ponder during the second half, which might not bode well....... Think we still got a good chance though!"
