Tim Tebow is likely not long for the Jets, and his recent potential foray into a kind of insubordination might offer some insight into his frustration. Tebow reportedly opted out of his normal Wildcat packages against the Chargers on Sunday. "Team-first" is a big part of the Tim Tebow image, but a backup quarterback playing against type wouldn't exactly be the strangest thing that's happened to the Jets this season.

- MauiBBQ: "Let's see. Bust his ribs again being run up the gut for one yard like a battering ram and then listen to fans blaming him for disrupting the rhythm, or sit on the sidelines and watch interception machine and/or sack machine tank the remainder of the season on their own. Not a difficult choice."
- 24Bullwinkle: "Good for you, Tebow! I don't blame you one bit. They brought you to NY for all the wrong reasons. And look where it got them!"
- jagged81: "He didn't want to get hurt playing a meaningless game for a team he is not playing for next year, PRETTY SIMPLE, and good for him."
- zdh91: "And Tebow is supposed to be a team-first guy? Frustration on his part is understandable, but when you're paid to play when asked to and you refuse, your actions speak louder than words."
- knightswhosayni: "Take out the words 'Tim Tebow' and replace them with 'Jay Cutler' with the same storyline, and everyone would be tearing him apart for quitting on the team."
- Hattclhu: "Any other 3rd string QB who refused to play in the wildcat formation would be out of the NFL forever."
