• Do the Ravens really need Ray Lewis?

Not that the Ravens were in desperate need of good news sitting at 9-2 and in control of the AFC North, but word that Ray Lewis could be ready to return to the field in 3-4 weeks has only increased the Super Bowl buzz in Baltimore. But with the defense playing lights out without him, would it be a safer bet to hold Lewis back and let him run out of the tunnel in the team's first playoff game and keep running all the way to a title?

Take it easy?

The Ravens were 5-1 and allowing 19.6 points per game with Lewis in the lineup. Without him they have been 4-1 allowing 20.2 points.

Get well soon!

Lewis could be ready to play Dec. 16 or the week after. Ben Roethlisberger could possibly play Sunday if he can bear the pain.

Super Bowl or bust?

The Ravens are 9-2 and a first-round playoff bye is within reach. Will the return of Lewis spark the Ravens to a Super Bowl run?
