It's been a good couple of weeks for the beautiful game in America. First, the women's team eked out a gold medal against Japan in the Olympics, and now, the men have beaten Mexico in Mexico for the first time, well, ever. Goalkeeper Tim Howard made some excellent saves, Michael Orozco Fiscal scored off a backheel from Terrence Boyd, and coach Jurgen Klinsmann was all aglow when stoppage time finally ran out. There was no real consequence to this friendly, but does the win signify a turning point in U.S. soccer?
