Papa John's unintentionally trolls Browns fans with email error

The folks at Papa John's were a little overeager to reward Cleveland Browns fans for Sunday's game. The NFL pizza sponsor, which also sponsors the Browns, has a deal that if the Browns score a point, it's 50 percent off all online orders the next day.

The problem? The Browns were shut out 30-0.

The email below was presumably set to automatically go out to Browns fans Monday morning, assuming Cleveland would have scored.

It's not known how many fans got the message. At least two recipients sent photos of the email to ESPN, but one Browns season-ticket holder said he didn't see it in his inbox this morning, meaning that perhaps the mistake was caught.

At last check, the Browns were looking into how this happened with Papa John's.

Sunday was the first time the Browns were shut out since Nov. 16, 2009, when the team lost 16-0 to the Baltimore Ravens.
