Memorable trick plays in football tend to carry some combination of: (1) an unusual design, (2) a successful execution and (3) an unforgettable name.

This one -- from Lewis and Clark Middle School in Jefferson City, Missouri -- has all three.

Witness ... "The Ugly Kardashian":

According to MaxPreps, quarterback Atiq Muhammad is telling the referee that his team took the wrong ball onto the field following a kickoff. Of course, this happens after it is legally snapped to him -- meaning Muhammad is able to run past the defense once he feels he's in position to score.

About that name: It has no real connection to Kim, Khloe, Kourtney or any known or unknown Kardashian. It was inspired, according to coach Shawn Griggs, by "The Annexation of Puerto Rico" play from the 1994 film "Little Giants." (Click here for a whole lot more on that play.)

"When I said it the first time in the huddle [my players] wouldn't stop laughing," Griggs said. "I threatened to change the name of it because they would laugh every time I said it."

The joke wore off, though, enough for the play to net Lewis and Clark a touchdown.
