Bernstien and Tarver are cool. I use to like HBO's team but they have strayed pretty far away from especially Jim Lampley. I do commend Kellerman for prompting people to watch the Pac Man v Bradey fight again with the sound turned down though.

oh gosh no - boxing is matchups. Maidana against a stick and move Alexander looked terrible. But against Mathysse - with national pride - and a guy who will be coming right at him? One tremendous fight and challenge.

matthyse always b rings it! Finally paid off by Ko ing Soto who probablly went up to high in weight.. Ortiz has been through a lot in the ring and hes only 25?? He should bounce back tho.. all that inactivity did him in he was breathing hard with his mouth open and got popped...he should do good in the rematch ..we all know hes dangerous when hes focused.. side not Holt and Lopez would have been awesome!!!

I would love to see Matthysse fight Josesito Lopez after they both pour it on this pass Saturday, if Lopez was able to take Ortiz shots and give his own he would fair well against the power of Matthysse which unfortunately Zorrita was not able to handle. If not there are many exiting fights in this division for Matthysse, ofcourse the one I think all fans want to see the Argentinian civil war vs Maidana, then you have Rios, Alvarado, Joan Guzman as the top candidates. However I think he will sit it out and wait for the Khan vs Garcia winner as his next target.

I think we would see a Castillo vs Corrales (RIP) type of fight, Lopez loves to dig that body shot as does Lucas so they would be on top of each other, they both have a nasty right cross and Lucas has this beautiful looping cross which he shots as a counter over jabs or close by which fighters don't see it coming like Soto. But after last Sat. fight and after checking some of Lopez previous fights the guy can easily be undefeated as well, his fight with Vargas could have easily been for him, he lost a fight against a Boricua last name Santana whom he dropped twice and got a SD lost, his other losses where also debatable losses. In any event it would be a good fight, you know what I say? if you want to revive boxing just put two Latino fighters in there and your problem is solve.

I just hope Lucas Matthysse gets a big fight next time out. In my eyes he is still an undefeated fighter. Lopez would give him some problems with his length and toughness...it would be interesting to see if Lucas could get inside on him and break him down with those power shots.

10-1 at least how people are down on Ortiz instead of giving Josito credit. Boxing fans are pretty negative. They want everybody to be Pac or May then they hate them too. And let's not forget the " boxing is dead " people after 4 great fights. A lot of boxing fans can't get enough violence and just remain pissed. . .That being said I think Ortiz needs a new trainer and sparring partners that are 160 so he learns to be patient and stop head hunting. Alvarez seemed to learn that when Jose Cotto rang his bell.

Ppl were looking forward to Canelo damn near killing Ortiz if thats what u are meaning. I dont think any rational and dedicated boxing fan gave Ortiz more than a punchers chance verses Alvarez. Ppl want to see blood and guts and action is the only reason that particular Sept. 15th fight was being advocated.
