PPV..laughable! The HBO dodo birds think boxing fans are stupid. Rios/Abril match up is not worthy to pay. Froch-Bute now that's a great fight to see...thanks Epix! 43 Days ago

I can't believe Rios-Abril is a PPV event. Those ratings have to be predicted very low. 45 Days ago

Ishida gets spanked by Paul Williams and earns a title shot afterwards, got to love boxing lol. and for the life of me i dont get why Showtime didnt want Bute vs Froxh, very weird not taking that fight as both are prominent Showtime fighters and its going to be a great fight. 46 Days ago

You nailed it juan marquez and now we get to see it a PPV level fight for free on Epix, and cool for boxing fight shown at times square..this will be a great fight be ironic if Froch beats Bute and Ward never gets the big pay day by not jumping on Bute first.. 46 Days ago

epix picked up bute-froch. it's weird how hbo and showtime both at times don't want certain fights, despite the exciting match up, but would rather air one sided match ups instead.
i guess ishida got a shot against priog since he's a little more known now from the kirkland and williams fights. pirogs lined up to fight geal, so this is meant to add a name to pirogs resume. same as usual in boxing 46 Days ago

ward was the one that initially dismissed the fight with bute. he wanted rest and to heal his hand. he'll most likely face the younger dirrell. bute had to settle with froch. both are still quality fights. even the politics with the hbo and showtime get in the way of matches happening. this is why im looking forward to epix, nbc sports to flourish 44 Days ago

Shotime has rights to bute's next fight and they as like everyone else want to see ward vs bute. If they pick up the froch fight they might lose ward vs bute to hbo. Why would hbo pick up bute vs froch all they would be doing is building up bute for shotime. If shotime didn't have the option on bute I'm pretty sure hbo or shotime would have picked this fight up. 46 Days ago

even dehydrated, Rios brings delivers intense/ exciting fights. but i don't see why it couldn't have been Rios- Marquez. or at least hint at the very likely hood of the match up down the road to at least bring some form of intrigue. other than that, these are just stay busy fights against less than stellar opponents.
and Marquez should stop with the whole Manny talk. by now he should know he'll have to wait awhile 'till Manny gives another rematch. (' late '13/ mmid '14) i keep hoping that Marquez instead looks to fight the winner of Khan-Peterson 46 Days ago

it was talked about when both were at lightweight, but it came from commentators and fans more so than their promoters. but i do hope it happens, what ever happens id like to see what rios can do @140lbs 46 Days ago

If they both win on 4/14, then there is a big possibility they meet at Cowboy Stadium on 7/14! 46 Days ago

JMM vs. Rios would be great fight! Both are warriors, unafraid of exchanges. I may be going against the grain, but if JMM can't hurt Rios (who has a world-class chin), then he may be in trouble. Rios will be taller, longer and heavier at fight time and JMM has a bit of trouble with bigger fighters (ie. Mayweather). Rios is a natural welterweight or bigger(he walks around at 160+ lbs then shrinks down to a lightweight just for the weigh-ins) and JMM is a blown-up featherweight (he walks around at 145 lbs). JMM is a great counter-puncher, but that means he must get in the pocket and exchange punches....that is where Rios does damage. I hope this fight materializes....much more interesting than Rios vs. Gamboa (Rios walks right thru him) or JMM vs Pacquiao (been there, done that). 46 Days ago

Rios was hit and "buzzed" by Acosta, but he was never hurt. Antillon is/was one of the hardest punching lightweights and he couldn't hurt Rios.....Rios actually smiled at him when Antillon hit him! Look at what happens to every fighter Rios fights....they are never the same! What happened to Acosta?? Antillon hasn't fought since he was knocked out by Rios last July. Where has Peterson been?? Murray said he won't fight until the fall. Rios is a beast with heavy hands and he destroys careers! 46 Days ago

I don't think Rios has a world class chin he got rocked by Acosta n buzzed by antillon. But jmm isn't a power puncher. Also Juan's chin isn't the best he seems to get knocked down in every fight. I don't know how many clean shots he can take from rios. Even tho rios is bigger jmm would rather fight a guy who comes at him. I like jmm in that fight by a late stoppage 10th round in a highly entertaining fight. 46 Days ago

JMM needs to quit whining about his loss to Pacquiao and focus on his next bout. There doesn't need to be a 4th fight between Pacquiao & Marquez. It should be Rios/Marquez and Garcia/Judah on July 14th, with the winners meeting in the fall to unify titles @ 140. Maidana and Mathysse aren't bad options @ 140 either! 46 Days ago

If they fight a fourth time it will just be the fourth time jmm getting shafted. I thought won it 9-3 in the first fight had it 8-4 (clear rounds he won) jmm in the second and 8-4 for the third fight pacquiao didn't seem to land anything clean his offense wasn't there. 46 Days ago

we are just used seeing pac knocking his opponents..just because marquez made it a close fight does'nt mean that he won..i've watched the 3rd one,,pac really won,,,

I agree that those fight are the ones that need to be made, but I thought JMM won two of the Pacquiao fights as well.
However, JMM is a great champ, and I'd rather see him take on some of the other contenders. 46 Days ago

Please most people believe pacquiao lost twice to JMM. You are just avoiding the fight just like pacquiao again. 46 Days ago

Just crying over spilled milk for 3 consecutive fights now. JMM lost. He should move on. Everyone wants to see other fights with other boxers. JMM with others before he retires and Pacquiao fight as many new guys before he retires. 46 Days ago
